Ugly Beauty

                                

Like an actor discovering and revealing bits of herself 

in the characters she plays, I learn much about both the paint 

and the painter throughout each project. 

My works are both love notes to the subjects 

and study notes on the behavior and effect 

of light, water, wind and gravity.

of finding something marvelous when you
least expect it.
